LOGISTICS

Cargo flows, containers and general cargo that reach Europe by maritime logistics mostly arrive via the major European ports Rotterdam and Antwerp. For many customers, these two main ports represent the “Gateway to Europe”.

RK-oil has developed huge skills and competence in maritime logistics, customs clearance services and on-transportation by truck, barge, rail, feeder vessel. We handle the warehousing, inventory management, storage(bonded or customs cleared), information management, transportation of these cargo flows to the final destination in the Hinterland.

RK-oil owns standard tank farms linked directly with all the terminals in the bellow ports as a lot of tank farms are not directly linked to main terminals in these ports.

Our personal storage farm tanks in the Novorossiysk terminal also include:

An oil tank farm with the total storage capacity of 920 000 m3, x 4 to be expanded to 580 000 m3 by the year 2010;
A wide network of internal railways with a total length of 9 km and a capacity to accept 170 railway tank-cars

SHIPPING

RK-oil operates 48 vessels of the total freight including:

25 self-propelled vessels;

12 non-self-propelled vessels;

4 push tugs

In addition, the company engages up to 10 extra push tugs and 2 oil pumping station, for transportation purposes. The company’s fleet operating in the sea areas is classified by the Russian Maritime Register and fully complies with all Russian and international requirements and conventions, including the requirements of the OCIFM member companies.

PIPELINES

Europoort Tankers operates three separate pipelines for crude oil and one for oil products in Rotterdam.

1. A 42", 168-km long crude oil pipeline linking the Nord Sea port of Rotterdam with the Nord Sea port of Rotterdam. Three booster stations pump the crude oil at a maximum capacity of 30 million tons per annum. Two additional booster stations pump the crude oil in the opposite direction, namely from the Rotterdam to the Nord Sea, at a maximum capacity of 30 million tons per annum.

Large scale independent oil hub terminal in the Port of Rotterdam with access to handle crude and the full spectrum of petroleum products. Market place and trading hub with opportunities for intra and inter terminal trading, blending and optimization of the logistics of our customers. Strategically located in Europe’s biggest refinery center with pipeline connections to 10 refineries and connections to the main product pipelines including jet fuel pipeline connections to the key airports in North West Europe.

OUR PURPOSE

RK-OIL is a Russian company engaged mainly in the business of Petroleum Products storage, and transportation via rail wagons within Russian link able terminals and pipelines, and tanker ship along the inland waterways and coastal seas of European Russia. Our Group is one of Eastern Europe's largest transport union in the storage and transport of liquid cargo.

TANK STORAGE

The company is established with purpose of creation of a specialized storage facilities via tank farms for oil products and other similar cargoes in bulk by sea within framework of one company, and also fleet for transportation of such products.

The Group consists of 9 independent companies in Russia and abroad.

Our oil storage facilities have are special containers for storage, engaged reception and storage of oil, producing oil shipment to consumers.

Direct wholesale deliveries of petroleum products from the leading Russian oil refineries.

SHIPPING & BUNKERING

As of the mid-2000s, the Group, in in large conjunction with our company controlled 60% of liquid cargo transportation market, storage, and bunkering operations in the commercial Ports of Russian Federation, and carried about 10% of the total Russian exports of fuel oil.
